A trio of fragrances inspired by places that blur the boundaries between the real and unreal, ‘Othertopias’ by Aesop transport the wearer to a faraway landscape, sparking a sense of wanderlust that throws the wearer into a passionate, unearthly reverie. Blending fresh and waxy accords with notes of yuzu, bergamot and grapefruit, this aromatic elixir boasts a profile of mimosa, green tea and guaiacwood on a bed of galbanum, iris and patchouli.
One of three ‘Othertopias’ by Aesop, the Eremia Eau de Parfum transports you to an otherworldly realm — one that’s inspired by the resilience of nature — via a mélange of zesty citrus, musk and waxy florals.
Rather than creating this ethereal olfactory offering for a specific person or gender, Aesop forged this androgynous fragrance for the likes of philosophers, flâneurs and romantics. A fragrance that encourages the world’s natural order against cultivation, it calls on green, floral and citrussy notes — imagine a verdant landscape permeated by the aroma of wood and moss, mingling with the scent of pollen on skin and concrete after rainfall. Celebrating nature’s intelligence and tenacity, this fragrance honours the inaudible conversations whispered between roots; the sound of earth’s creatures both large and small; the echo of life against static concrete; the drone of bees taking flight...
Start by spraying it on your pulse points: behind the ears, wrists, ankles. It will rise in spirals around your body. Then spray a scent halo around your neck, head and hair.
Alcohol Denat., Water (Aqua), Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene, Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Eugenol, Geraniol, Farnesol, Citral, Isoeugenol, Hexyl Cinnamal.

Lovely scent but no longevity
Bought purely on the strength of the description and because I'm a huge fan of Aesop's Tacit perfume. This one does thankfully smell intriguing and matched the description, sadly it doesn't seem to hang around. Within a couple of hours I can't detect it at all.
