Said to represent the ‘vanity and emotion of a royal era’, Olim is a decadent and opulent fragrance, opening with spicy notes of bergamot and anise and anchored with patchouli, benzoin, myrrh and musk for a rich, heady effect.
The Trudon family cut their manufacturing teeth supplying the French monarchy and Napoleon (officially the coolest – and shortest – celebrity fan on the site) and have continued to produce beautifully packaged, expertly perfumed artisan products ever since, much to the delight of curators of über-cool candles everywhere.
Expanding their legacy and bringing sublime scent from home to body, Cire Trudon has developed a range of gorgeous, genderless perfumes – including the rich, decadent Olim Eau de Parfum. Named after the Latin for ‘once’, Olim recalls the evolution of royal power in France and captures the ‘vanity and emotion of the royal era’. Each ingredient is hand-picked to evoke decadence and opulence, opening with spicy notes of bergamot and anise – anchored by rich patchouli, benzoin, myrrh and musk.
