Really good for long/thick hair

Personally, I found these preferably to GHDs because they seem to straighten hair in a better way. They seemed to straighten without flattening. Hair still has a swish to it. The plates close properly and while they are 1.5 inch plates I could still get close to the scalp as you can with 1 inch plates. It's called single pass quite aptly because I did find it glides through very quickly and leaves hair more healthy looking than any other straighteners I've used before. I have long thick blond slightly coarse hair and personally love how the 1.5 inch plates leave my hair straighter but not flattened and quite glossy, which must be the benefit of being tourmaline infused or whatever it is. They heat to a high temp, the idea being they spend less time on the hair I suppose - perhaps this is why my hair is in better condition since using these too. Very pleased that cult beauty offers a discount on them since they are pricey but well worth it, plus the adaptive voltage means you can take them travelling and they will remain as effective. Good investment.

Let me preface this by saying I have thick, very curly hair that so I don't straighten it often because it is such a chore. This, however, has cut my straightening time in half. I only need to go over a section of hair two or three times to get it straight! It also leaves my hair looking incredibly shiny. It heats up pretty quick, and I've been using it for a few months now and it's still as good as when I first bought it.
