I have struggled to find a moisturiser to suit my combination skin. I have oily, hormonal skin, prone to breakouts and dehydrated patches. Balancing out my skin with a moisturiser has always been difficult. I’ve tried many moisturisers from varying price ranges and brands. Dr Sam Buntings came close, but then I found Shani Darden’s and it is my absolute fave. It doesn’t add to my oiliness or leave a sticky/grimy residue, it doesn’t clog my pores and it doesn’t dry/dehydrate my skin out - I can’t stand matte products, which always do this to my skin. It sinks in quickly and my skin feels smooth. My only complaint is the pump it comes with, it constantly gets stuck. If that gets sorted then it’d be a 5 star product for me!!

A nice, simple moisturiser that does a good job and it is a lovely product. I like that there is no fragrance and every ingredient in there is purely there to benefit your skin. The price point is quite high however considering its a straight forward product. The packaging also didn't work for me as the pump sticks and therefore its tricky to get product out - you need a few pumps for one application.

Wish it worked better for me. It made my skin dry. Also, the pump didn't work very well.

I was looking for a nice, simple moisturiser without the shine and this is great. You only need a small amount, the pump pumps out just the perfect amount. It is simple, no smell or parfum added and i'ts the best, it doesn't take out the moitsture and keeps everything shine free. I pair this with a moiturising serum and use it under make up.

Nice texture and smell, but my skin really did get dry after application. Had to add ‘Summer Fridays’ to get more moisture :-( I have normal/sensitive to dry skin.

I was looking for a very simple, non-occlusive moisturizer for my combo/oily skin, and it's a very lovely one. Lightweight, sinks in very quickly, very neutral. Contains some of my favorite hydrating/conditioning ingredients (squalane, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid) which allows me to layer this between serum and SPF for lasting moisture without overloading my skin. I find myself reaching for this over most of my other products, day and night (pairs well with actives!) I'll stock up because I really don't want to be without it now!

This is my other 'go to' day moisturiser, I love that it's oil free and it's perfect for layering my sunscreen on top. Smells amazing and I never break out from it.
