This is make up prep with serious skin care benefits: bakuchiol works to keep your skin smooth and eve,n while lentil extract keeps shine firmly under wraps (blotting papers be gone!). Irritation and sensitivity are calmed with a soothing dose of moonstone and pores can take a back seat thanks to our favourite skin-gredient... niacinamide. This is the make up locking primer to keep your base in place all day, leaving you with a filter-like finish without the need for silicones.
Immediately following your skincare routine, apply a thin layer on clean skin all over face or on oily-prone areas like your T-zone. Blend into skin with fingertips. First primer
This is the first primer I ever bought and tried and it’s so good. Your pores completely disappear and your skin is so ready for makeup. Also makeup lasts longer and looks better with this underneath.

This primer doesn't improve the look, nor the function of my base make up whatsoever. It also slightly stings my (non-sensitive) skin and is very, very fragranced. It also doesn't play well with others and is finicky to use. I really cannot in good faith recommend this.

Combination skin, mostly getting oily in couple of hours. Love this product. Be aware does dry a little, but oh do I love it, because it smoothed the skin and makeup stays in place.

I love this as a situational primer. I have quite dry skin so pore-focusing primers tend to be my enemy but this is a really unique gel formula that’s really lightweight and sinks into the skin like skincare. A lot of pore primers also pill but this thankfully doesn’t! I typically use this down the centre of my face and the hydro grip primer everywhere else and my complexion ends up really even and smooth.

I bought this after glowing (compensated) reviews on other websites (I must stress) and I really do think there is a conflict of interest in reviewers who get free products / paid for reviews because it is getting harder and harder to trust reviews. However, I bought this product with my own money, so I digress. I really did not like this primer. It's half gone already, and most of that has been trying to find a foundation (water based, silicone based, bb cream, etc. etc.) that will play well with it. Most of my foundations wear weird with it to the point where I had to take everything off and start again without the primer. The ones that do not automatically look weird do not last well at all. Disclaimer, I have super, super oily skin. I probably get oily about 1/2 hours into wear of any liquid foundation. This does nothing, nothing to stop oiliness (contrary to compensated reviews I have seen on other websites) and yet somehow interacts weirdly with other products and dries out just enough to make any powder applied look instantly cakey and powdery. As always, great service from Cult Beauty, but I find reviews on other websites to be very hyped up and the actual product to be very underwhelming. And as always, YMMV, but I am not impressed with this primer.
