Best BAFTAs Beauty Looks 2015

2015 awards season has thus far, been a little underwhelming but at last night BAFTAs ceremony, the few who nailed it, totally nailed it (we're looking at you, Lea Seydoux with your totally SWOONSOME canary and cut-away).Beauty-wise, metallic eyes were very definitely 'a thing' - Ms Seydoux complemented yellow crepe with gilded lids, vintage lips and an enviably glossy, golden bob. NudStix {Magnetic Eye Colour} in 'Gilt' is the perfect, glimmering shade - especially when off-set with Julie Hewett's {Lipstick Noir} in 'Coco' - a vampy 1930's red.Hayley Atwell favoured tonal shades of bronze and copper shadow with dark chocolate liner, to match her hyper-shiny chestnut mane. Lips were nude - try Kevyn Aucoin's {The Expert Lip Colour} in 'Sireedan' - a stunning, pink-toned neutral, and cheeks were contoured to perfection. Use cream contour, such as Kevyn Aucoin's {Creamy Glow Duo} to mimic Hayley's dewy, youthful finish. And I think we need to give an honourable mention to Kristen S-T's eyebrows - the ultimate face framers, you too can achieve immaculate arches with Anastasia Beverly Hills' {Brow Wiz} - available in all the shades, to flatter all faces (we reckon Kristen's a 'Medium Brown').

We collectively gasped when we witnessed Gugu Mbatha-Raw, realising her character 'Belle' in lavender silk with pink lips and cheeks. Stila Cosmetics' {Convertible Color} in 'Petunia' has juuuust the right balance of peach and peony, to lend skin a beautiful, natural flush.Reese Witherspoon's honeyed hair and skin were at odds with the miserable winter weather, and she looked like a goddess in form-fitting amethyst. Her tousled mane was full and beautifully bed-heady (easily faked with a quick spritz of Living Proof's {Texture Mist}) and her low-key look was finished with a hint of silver sparkle on each eyelid. Jouer's {Creme Eye Shadow Crayon} in 'Renaissance' is a glimmering, cool-toned purple. And Felicity Jones was proof that 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' with her 60s take on a classic up-do. A chic, feline flick and glossy lip were the ideal, understated accompaniments to those bobby-dazzling earrings and vintage Dior. What do you think? Which gowns made you giddy and which beauty looks will you be pilfering? Let us know in the comments below...
