Get the Look - Metallic Eyes

A gorgeous look for after dark, smoky eyes and glossy lips go together like Christmas and cocktails. A favourite of babes from Brigitte to Kate Moss, this stunning update (as seen on supermodel Sasha Pivorarova) is astonishingly easy to achieve, and can be pulled together in mere moments – even if you’ve partaken of the office drinks trolley, and are face-making whilst merry at your desk.

Skin must be polished but natural – mist your face with May Lindstrom’s {The Jasmine Garden}, then add a drop or two of Odacité’s {Radiance Effect Booster} to your favourite tinted moisturiser. Jouer Cosmetics’ {Luminizing Moisture Tint} is perfect – juuuuuuust the right amount of ‘glow’ without the sweaty sparkle. Apply and blend with fingertips for your-skin-but-better effect.

Conceal any imperfections with NudeStix creamy {Skin Concealer Pencil} then prime your lids with Jouer’s {Long Wear Eye Brightening Primer}. Apply a warm, shimmering taupe all over the lid, right the way up to the brow bone. Sunday Riley’s {Prismasilk Eye Colour} in ‘Twig’ is the perfect glimmering copper-bronze – blend and soften any edges with a fluffy shadow brush (we like Studio 10’s {Double Ended Shadow Brush}) – then intensify the lashlines (upper and lower) using NudeStix {Eye Pencil} in ‘Smoke’.

Smudge everything together, then apply NudeStix {Magnetic Eye Pencil} in ‘Gilt’ to the inner corners of each eye as a highlight, before tight-lining, and defining the waterline with Studio 10’s {I-Lift Longwear Liner} in ‘Mocha’. Curl lashes and apply 2 coats of Stila’s {Mile High Lashes} to top and bottom for maximum, come-hither magnetism.

Apply the merest suggestion of blush – Stila’s {Convertible Color} in ‘Peony’ is perfect – then finish lips with a slick of sheer, high-shine gloss. NudeStix {Lip Pen} in ‘Charm’ or Jouer’s {Pearl Lip Enhancer} in ‘Nude’ both complement this look beautifully.
