Don’t be perturbed by the irritation often associated with acid use – The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2% contains purified Tasmanian pepperberry to reduce signs of inflammation and soothe the sensitivity sometimes caused by exfoliation. Also enhanced with heroic hydrating ingredient hyaluronic acid, this super-charged serum strengthens the lipid barrier to improve the skin’s ability to attract and retain moisture.
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)

This serum has very nice texture (watery texture), and too harsh yet doing its work. This serum is very gentle, and I’ve seen a very good results after using it for a month or so. (It has helped me a lot with my texture and fading my acne scars)

I like this lroduct as it leaves my skin smoother. About the pigmentation ,it does not really cleqr them out but its lighter than it was. Might be this product or because im using vitamin c as well and retinol so..... Overall i am happy using this mild acid serum
