Also known as ‘Your Beauty Translator’, THE INKEY LIST’s aim is simple: break through beauty jargon to deliver a straightforward take on skin care’s most-wanted ingredients (at astoundingly reasonable, ‘give-it-a-go’ prices). If your skin leans on the dry side, chances are you’ve tried hyaluronic acid – but what if we told you that there’s a magical molecule that can hold four times as much moisture? This mind-blowing phenomenon is called (you guessed it…) polyglutamic acid – and chances are you’ll be seeing a lot more of it as the beauty realm catches wind of its ultra-hydrating abilities. This incredible formula is quickly absorbed into skin, granting ultra-soft and supple skin instantly.
Once you’re done trying to pronounce it, THE INKEY LIST’s Polyglutamic Acid is the dryness-banishing formula that all dehydrated skin types should add to their #shelfie. Holding four times more moisture than hyaluronic acid (*gasp*), polyglutamic acid is a hydration powerhouse – and then some. Unlike hyaluronic acid, the magical ingredient has large molecules, allowing it to form a thin film on the skin’s surface to prevent water loss, while plumping the appearance of fine lines and brightening lacklustre or uneven complexions. With a 3% polyglutamic acid complex, THE INKEY LIST’s formula leaves skin smooth, supple and oh-so hydrated – you can even combine it with their Hyaluronic Acid for a mega dose of moisturising goodness.
Apply a pea-sized amount to cleansed face and neck in the morning and evening, avoiding the eye area.
The formula is best used after serums and before moisturiser.

Good
This one really helps with my dehydrated-oily skin. It leaves my skin feeling nice without feeling sticky. When I apply it at night I somehow see myself more beautiful in the morning. It is a good makeup base also.
Report this reviewOvernight mask
This is great for using overnight and having great bright skin in the morning.
Report this reviewGreat
I started using retinol a month ago and, together with the cold weather, my skin was feeling dry. This came with the advent calendar so I have it a try and applied it before my moisturizer. I have really noticed a difference! My skin feel normal again and this leaves it feeling silky smooth. I will repurchase for sure P. D. About the smell, other people hate it and say it smells very chemically, but I don't know, it weirdly smells like pears to me (?) I don't hate it.
Report this reviewgreat product
My skin has been really dry and this product has really helped me! I actually think it works better than most hyaluronic acids, it leaves my skin really plump and hydrated. I don't love the smell but it's only noticeable for about a minute after application so it's fine. Overall a great product
Report this reviewVelvet skin
Hooooooooly sh*t this was a game changer for me! I got it in the Cult Beauty Advent Calendar and my god I will def purchase it after. Aside from the horrible chemical smell (that disappears after a few seconds) it's absolutely amazing. Leaves skin with a smooth velvety texture that worked perfectly as a make-up primer for me. I have combination skin and during the winter I do get a bit dryer than in summer but I get oily so fast and with this serum I finally got the glow I always wanted (in stead of the oily shine that I usually get from all the product that people keep recommending).
Report this reviewGreat serum
This product is so hydrating especially used after the HYALURONIC acid serum great combo for the winter monthsÂ
Report this reviewBig Love
I love this serum, it is super hydrating, great AM and PM. IÂ repurchase this 3 times and definitively I will buy this again.
Report this reviewFeels lovely
I've started using this as part of my skincare routine morning and night and love how it makes my skin feel - smooth and hydrated. It has a slight chemical smell but that disappears within seconds so not a big deal! Perfect and affordable - love it.
Report this reviewGreat but smells terrible
I really have no idea if I'm the only one, but this serum smells absolutely terrible! Other than that, it works well as a hydrator, is non-irritating and affordable. Still, not sure if I'd repurchase due to the bizarre smell.
