The reset your locks have been longing for, OUAI Detox ShampooTravel Size (89ml) helps to cleanse away dirt, excess oil and product build-up (we're looking at you, dry shampoo).
If shampoo was a car wash service (bear with us here), this would be the equivalent of a full valet. A once-a-week option, its gentle formula boasts apple cider vinegar to help cut through product build-up and neutralise shine-compromising hard water deposits while hydrolysed keratin works to support brittle or heat-weakened tresses. Expect to be left with hair that feels soft, silky and ready for action. Infused with the brand's signature 'Melrose Place' fragrance, a harmony of rose, lychee, bergamot, cedarwood and white musk is the perfect final flourish.

Thoroughly wet your hair from root to tip with lukewarm water. Squeeze out any excess moisture and lather a coin-sized dollop of Detox Shampoo in your palms. Use your fingers to part the hair and apply the product as close to the scalp as possible. Let it work its magic for one to three minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

Good
It’s a good shampoo. I use it when I have a lot of hairspray or wax in my hair. Gets rid of all of it and leaves my scalp feeling clean. Not quite sure if it’s worth the the price tag whatsoever.

Amazing
What an amazing shampoo. Have been getting greasy hair for a long time and have tried this and my hair doesn’t get greasy anymore. Instead my hair has brought back the shine. Bought the travel size to try first and will definitely be investing in the bigger size. Love it!!Â

Not the one for sensitive scalps
So this shampoo feels luxurious, the lather is so nice and it smells lovely and I do believe it cleans the scalp well as a detox shampoo, however if you do have a sensitive scalp I’d avoid this one. My scalp was okay-ish the day I washed it but during the next few days it got super irritated, no flaky scalp or redness, just super super itchy. (Literally ended up waking up in the middle of the night because it was so itchy.) I think the normal person would be fine but I have ezcema and the whole overactive immune system means I just have to be weary, so yeah :( Otherwise it’s actually proper nice and I would recommend :)

Why did I wait so long?
I ordered the travel size just to try out as I had heard good things about the brand.Used it for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it. Admittedly, I've only used it once but I was amazed at how it broke down and removed all the build up from other hair products. My hair and scalp looked very clean, felt fresh and my hair looked like my true colour! The smell is incredible too - fresh, soft, on the beach, clean, invigorating. I let my hair air dry and I could smell this gorgeous scent for ages after. It was on my pillow and it was just dreamy. I will defo order the larger size as well as other products in this range.
