If shampoo was a car wash service (bear with us here), this would be the equivalent of a full valet. A once-a-week option, its gentle formula boasts apple cider vinegar to help cut through product build-up and neutralise shine-compromising hard water deposits while hydrolysed keratin works to support brittle or heat-weakened tresses. Expect to be left with hair that feels soft, silky and ready for action. Infused with the brand's signature 'Melrose Place' fragrance, a harmony of rose, lychee, bergamot, cedarwood and white musk is the perfect final flourish.

Thoroughly wet your hair from root to tip with lukewarm water. Squeeze out any excess moisture and lather a coin-sized dollop of Detox Shampoo in your palms. Use your fingers to part the hair and apply the product as close to the scalp as possible. Let it work its magic for one to three minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

This is a clarifying shampoo loved by derms, influencers and the general public, so I decided to give it a try. However, after a few uses I don't see any significant difference in my hair vs my daily shampoo nor my hair lasts cleaner longer. Allegedly this is a great shampoo to remove buildup and hard water residue. Maybe I don't have any of those problems and that's why I'm on the fence with this one.

These are my first impressions after my first use of this shampoo : first of all, it smells amazing and lathers beautifully. It didn’t make my hair feel drier or anything. I do have a very oily scalp and dry ends, so I focus more on cleansing & massaging my scalp. I can’t speak of significant results yet but so far so good!

I'm not sure if this one is better than the olaplex one. Both make my hair frizzy despite using conditioner afterwards. This one did leave them soft afterwards, though, so for that I'm not rating it too low.
