Described by the brand’s founder, Jessica Alba, as a 'game changer’ with ‘incredible payoff’, the primer and mascara duo work harmoniously together for larger-than-life lashes. The primer preps and conditions – creating a silky-smooth texture – while coating lashes with a Velcro-like grip, ready to hold pigment in place with intense colour. Primer also allows you to layer the mascara effectively, which is the key to length, drama, definition and fullness. With extended staying power and supercharged with jojoba esters and beeswax, the formula moisturises and conditions, for healthy lashes that feel as good as they look. Applying mascara is a breeze with the lash building primer. Brush the mascara primer through your upper lashes evenly from root to tip. Wait 30 seconds, and then apply a coat of mascara to your upper and lower lashes, using the moulded bristles to define and separate as you go to experience your very own lash growth. Apply another coat for thicker, fuller lashes.
CAUTION: When applying mascara, avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water. In case of irritation, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Great mascara, questionable primer
This mascara works well for me on its own and doesn't smudge throughout the day. But as others have mentioned I have some problems with the primer - it seems to be stuck lower on the brush so it doesn't get transferred on the lashes unless I try very hard.

Favourite mascara, hands down. The primer and mascara combo makes my lashes so long. Super flattering and always gives me compliments from people asking if my (average length) lashes are real.

My go-to mascara
In the last 10 years this is the only mascara I’ve repurchased once I ran out and I now make sure I always have backups. It gives me volume and length and doesn’t smudge or flake. It’s the only mascara I can wear on my lower lashes without any issues. 10/10 recommend!

The best mascara ever tried
this mascara is great but beware that if you try it you can't do without it anymore...I've been using it for 4 years: I've also tried other brands but none make your lashes as long and full as this mascara.

This mascara is it. I'm done searching for a better one! My lashes are few and very straight but she makes them pop, i love it!

Its nice
Overall I think the mascara is decent. I bought it for my lower lashes and for that, it works great. I also use it to separate my upper lashes sometimes, after my main mascara. The brush is nice and thin, the formula is decent, doesn't clump up. The only problem I would have with this mascara would be the primer. It is difficult to get it on the lashes and when you do, I don't really see any difference with or without the primer before the mascara. Also, the primer dried up way too fast. I used it maybe 5 times and now nothing is even getting on my lashes anymore. So 4,5 stars for the mascara, but 0 for the primer.

Great for lengthening
Primer coats lashes perfectly even. Gives amaizing length, doesn’t do anything to give u curling lashes. Use rollerblade mascara afterwards to give my long lashes a curl

During the last two years I had many issues with mascara , my eyes got red every time I wear it...tried this one and it works... nomore red eyes. The result is very, very good.

Wow! I'll never buy a different mascara again!
Absolutely fabulous! I have okay lashes but they are straight and don't lift, all mascara smudges around my eyes I've tried everything!! And of it doesn't smudge it clumps I've just given up. UNTILL NOW! THIS MASCARA lifts ! Curls! Incredible staying power it drys down perfectly. It doesnt stay sticky or wet it goes completely dry but it doesn't even feel like like any is on my lashes ! Massive volume amazing primer I just love it.The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the mascara wond is a bit fiddley to use but other using it once I got the hang of it
