Using improved ceramic heat technology and snag-free floating plates, these glide effortlessly through tresses to deliver the optimum temperature of 185ºC – ghd’s team of scientists concluded that cooler temperatures deliver poorer styling results while hotter ones can cause irreversible, unnecessary hair damage. A round barrel allows for versatile styling, particularly when creating curls, while a staggering 30 second heat up time is a God send on busy mornings. For peace of mind, the device automatically switches off after 30 minutes and a universal voltage makes it the perfect travel companion. Good hair all day, every day? Sounds like a no-brainer to us…
Before use, spritz your hair generously with heat protectant. We recommend ghd heat protect spray. Once the Straightener has heated, use it to straighten, curl or create waves.
Leave the Straightener to cool, then fold the cord in the same way as it arrived in the original packaging. Where possible, avoid wrapping it around the body of the Styler or hanging it by the cord as this could cause damage.
The styler has a UK three-pin plug and is 68-75W.

A classic
I would always recommend a GHD straightner. while the newer models have better technology to protect the hair, any product from GHD will last you decades. I have had mine since 2013. It looks horrible but it still works perfectlyÂ

The best
One of the plates on my 10 year old GHD’s recently stopped working, I considered switching brands but in the end the reliability won. Worth the money all day every day for how effective and reliable they are.ÂÂ
