Part of the Balancing Collection, the Balancing Shampoo is the first step in a hydrating, soothing hair care routine, designed to promote scalp health and keep unwanted dryness, itchiness or flakiness at bay.
The gently cleansing formula takes a three-pronged approach to restoring your scalp’s natural balance. Firstly, it uses a cocktail or nourishing natural ingredients suitable for soothing even the most sensitive of skin. Think: Japanese camellia, brown and green algae, and lavender extracts, all of which ease irritation and redness (and prevent the flakes that can appear as a result!). Next, it uses sunflower sprouts and tara extract to protect your scalp from the damage and inflammation heat, pollution and UV stress can all trigger. Finally, it uses purslane extract to offer relief from itchiness.
Massage into wet hair, (allowing 1-2 minutes to work in), then rinse thoroughly.

Not enough bubbles for me
I feel quite unsure about this shampoo. My roots can get really oily so I love a shampoo that foams up generously and makes me feel like I am really cleansing my scalp.Balancing Shampoo has a subtle foaming effect and after using it twice, my scalp felt much cleanser than before. I was a bit nervous that my hair might still have some product residue after washing and drying but I must admit it feels clean, soft and shiny.The results are good but I won't repurchase this, simply because I prefer more foam and bubbles.

Dr Barbara Sturm balancing shampoo and conditioner
I bought these because of the good reviews on her website.Honestly I don’t know what the hype is about, my hair is even more knotty when using the shampoo and the conditioner is not conditioning enough to help out with the tangles. I am so disappointed as these products cost a lot of money 😩
