With nourishing plant extracts such as chia seed, blue agave, algae sugars, kahai oil and linseed, this skilful Super Hold Styler from Bouclème effortlessly helps to prevent split ends and keeps curls in check from desk to disco! Ideal for defining and holding loose waves, curls and kinky coily curls, this 99% naturally-derived and 100% vegan formula means your curls will be soft, glossy and gorgeous! Happy to work on its own, it’s also an excellent team player and can be layered on top of the Curl Defining Gel for ultra definition, hold and shine. Unlike other stylers, this does not stiffen or weigh down your hair - apply to soaking wet hair for maximum effect!
Using alone - less is more! For waves start with 20p amount and smooth down the length of the hair and scrunch up towards the scalp hold, pulse and release working your way through the in sections.
For curly and kinky curls, with 10p amount rake through hair in sections from root to tip, using fingertips to smooth as you go. Once hair is completely dry, tip head forward and scrunch out gel to release the cast.
Using with Curl Defining Gel:
Apply your Curl Defining Gel as normal, then whilst hair is still wet, smooth 2 -3 x 10p sized amounts of Super Hold Styler over canopy and scrunch into ends. Once hair is completely dry, tip head forward and scrunch out gel to release the cast.

Mixed feelings
I have wavy hair and I feel like this gel is too strong for my hair, I still have to find the right amount of product to make my hair nice...

Maybe I used it wrong
I think I should give this product another chance, when I tried it, it didn’t give a super hold to my long wavy-curly hair, though I suspect I may have used too much and it ended up weighing it down. But I assume it’s the fault of my technique and not the product

I've lost count on how many times I've bought this. It's one of the few products that will actually define and hold my curls for many days in a row. It's an absolute must have in my haircare routine.

Nice gel
This gel has an almost slime-like texture and holds curls reasonably well. The hold could be a little stronger for me personally. Also the smell is great!

The only gel that gives me the curls I love
I have tried the yellow gel from Bouclème and the Amika curl corps enhancing gel after trying this one. I was so disappointed at how the cast doesn't really hold with those. I repurchased the Super Hold again because nothing beats the hold it can provide while it dries. I break it with an oil and my curls are super bouncy instead of flat and frizzy. The citrusy scent is not my favourite but for the way this styler performs I don't mind it at all.

Correct gel
I am following Curly Girl Method and this is a quite approved famous gel. I think is less than "super hold", as I have to refresh with gel in the second day. But, after the cast, I get quite natural curls.

Perfect for my 3b curls!
I cannot stand the crunch that other gels leave me with. I like to feel movement in my hair and it's so hard to find something that holds my curls without stiffening them. That's why I'm so pleased with Bouclème's Super Hold Styler! It makes my 3b curls feels nourished and doesn't weigh them down. I like to use it over my curl cream for extra hold and then use a little throughout the week to keep flyaways down. I will deffo repurchase!
