It didn't give any irritation (but my skin isn't super sensitive). It really helped with my dull skin by brightening it. I like the marriage of science and nature that the company embodies. I even like the fact they are recommending 6 drops, which is about right, and not like the other companies when they say to use 1-2 drops, which are absorbed before you got the chance to apply them. An absolute staple!

Does not work for my skin
I have combination skin and I found it way too oily, broke me out especially in the forehead area. I also found that it is very messy to use, it's oily but somehow very liquid, drips everywhere. It's disappointing, especially at this price point.

Even though it’s oil based it is not greasy it sinks in beautifully and you really need just a couple of drops for the whole face, so it lasts longer than majority of vit c serums. I prefer it to luxe version and would highly recommend it
