I finally took the plunge

I finally took the plunge buying Pillow Talk. What I love the most about this lipstick is the texture, while the colour is beautiful, it’s velvety although it is a matte lipstick. My lip still feels creamy.

Glastonberry

The color is beautiful, but the formula is very patchy and drying. It doesn't apply well or evenly and simply looks and feels terrible. Unusable, honestly.

Pillowtalk

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I purchased up a tube of Pillowtalk as soon as it was available and I can see why it's so popular. It's a lovely pink nude and for a matte finish, it's very comfortable. It doesn't feel tight or dry at all. I would really recommend the matching lip liner as it just completes the whole look very well.

Finally Found It!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’m in my mid 50's and have never, ever found a lipstick that I liked and actually used. That’s until I bought this CT in Pillow Talk. It’s absolutely marvellous! Such an easy colour to wear, flattering on all complexions, and it doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing lipstick at all. Just an improvement on my natural lips. Love it.

I purchased pillow talk along with the liner. Your lips but better, absolutely love it. The matte formula is really comfortable and long lasting, creamy not chalky like most matte lipsticks. Will definitely repurchase!

Super comfortable matte formula

This is my favorite matte lipstick ever. It is super long lasting, not like a liquid lipstick but it stays on pretty well for a couple of hours. I have the shade Very Victoria, that I LOVE, however it does not look like the picture above. It is more like a dusty rosy colour. Not as brown as it is shown on the pictures, however I still use it almost daily, because it just goes with everything.

Favourite lipstick

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I own 12 of these lipsticks - including two of the hot lips collection - and I absolutely love them. They are my all time favourite matte lipsticks and would be my all time favourite lip product if it wasn't for the Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Lips collection! These stay on my lips all day long - even after eating. My favourite shade is Sexy Sienna for the day as it goes well with my fair skin and auburn hair, and on an evening I love Red Carpet Red and Glastonberry. Amazing formula.

It's not a long-term investment

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Just have to say this for someone who is buying this lipstick for the first time: it is not one of those that will serve you for years. They actually go bad after two years, as I have found out recently that the first I had reached this mark. They start to apply really badly, the texture becomes sort of sandy. And I know that lipsticks aren't supposed to be kept for years, but I'm frugal this way and throw cosmetics away only if I see it's bad. And I have some lipsticks that are 3 years old and are totally ok. And it's important that the product lasts when the price is this high - I mean just think whether you are actually going to go through it in 1 - 1.5 years before buying. But when they are fresh, they are really great.
