Making its much-anticipated jump across the pond, skin care doesn’t get more ‘cult’ than U.S. brand Kate Somerville – especially the brand’s adored ExfoliKate range. A must-have for any Kate Somerville obsessive, this all-new Liquid ExfoliKate boasts a 10% AHA and fruit enzyme-powered formula that works as a nightly leave-on exfoliating solution to gently slough away surface dullness and refine the look of pores for smoother, softer, more glowing skin.
Known as ‘The Hollywood 2-minute facial’, Liquid ExfoliKate is an update on Kate Somerville’s bestselling, dual-action exfoliator, which delivers incredible results in as little as one use. The secret to a glowing, ‘fresh from the skin clinic’ complexion lies in the advanced ingredients used in this formula. Papaya, pineapple and pumpkin enzymes (Kate’s ‘three Ps for perfect skin’) as well as natural alpha hydroxy acid, lactic acid, work to counteract dullness, dryness and uneven skin tone and texture by loosening and sloughing away dead, dulling cells to reveal the beautifully balanced, even radiance beneath – without drying. Alongside this enzymatic exfoliation, soothing aloe vera, antibacterial honey and antioxidant vitamin E soften skin and calm any potential irritation.
Apply nightly after cleansing. Saturate a cotton round, then pat onto face, décolleté, and tops of hands, avoiding the eye area. Allow Liquid ExfoliKate to absorb, then follow with your favourite moisturiser.
Please be mindful that Kate Somerville is a clinical brand who pride themselves on real results. While they infuse active ingredients with vitamins and botanicals for minimal downtime, if you haven’t used a particular ingredient at a clinically proven level before, we recommend you always patch test first. (Apply to a small area of the skin).

Good
A good product but there are others just as good.Â

Good, but the pump is broken.
It's a good product. However, I received it with a broken pump which makes using this product quite challenging. But overall it's a nice product. It has exfoliating properties and it's not too harsh.

Good so far
I have dry mature skin and hyperpigmentation due to daft sun worship in my distant youth. I wanted a gentle exfoliant to use once a week alongside my nightly tretinoin formula. I've tried other leave on acids in the past and either found them too harsh over time (such as glycolic) or just ineffective (as in lactic). So far, this formula ticks to boxes. It isn't drying or makes my skin peel in shreds. I'd certainly recommend it.
