Working with skin rather than on skin, Cultured treats your complexion like the ecosystem that it is — encouraging stronger and healthier skin that’s less prone to the likes of blemishes and dryness. The Biome One Serum is powered by microbiome science to tackle the source of each skin concern, rather than just the symptoms, in order to ‘help skin help itself’. If you’re sick of having reactive skin (or just want to keep your good streak going!), use this hydrating serum to balance, renew and calm.
Set to hydrate, balance and renew, the microbiome-loving Biome One Serum encourages strong, resilient skin while smoothing, lifting, brightening and hydrating.
Serving as a serum and a moisturiser, this formula calls on pre, pro and postbiotics to renew, revitalise, balance and protect your precious skin. Hyaluronic acid injects moisture, kombucha black tea ferment brightens, polysaccharides firm and lactobacillus ferment fortifies the skin barrier. Boosting skin’s natural defences and working against premature ageing, this serum will have your skin feeling happy and healthy in no time at all — ideal for all, but especially wonderful for skin that’s often easily-irritated.
Apply morning and night onto cleansed skin.

Ok
Not bad however I wish Cult beauty would stock Aurelia London's the Probiotic Concentrate again, as that's the very best probiotic skin care product my very sensitive skin has ever tried.

It’s a NO from me
I have red irritated cheeks and sadly this serum made them worse. It might be the lactic acid in this serum. As mentioned by others it does have a strong earthy/mushroomy (lol) smell that lingers on the skin.

Good
I was very curious to try this brand as everyone talks good about. Nothing to say, it is good, hydrating, but no miracles, so for me it’s just a good regular product

Hydrating
I like that these products are powered by microbiome science. This serum is very hydrating and smoothing and doesn't react with sensitive skin

Don't be fooled by the smell!
I'm going to be blunt here: the smell of this serum reminds me of straw in a barn. However, the smell goes away fast and the product works wonders for dry, blemish-prone skin.

Smooth!
Yay for more conscious options! Love the glass bottle (and packaging overall!). Makes me happy to use it. The serum absorbs quickly and makes my skin look glow without making it greasy. I have combina skin. The scent does not bother me, because it fades within a minute. It seemed to made some spots heal faster after I picked at them (I know I shouldn't haha). So far so good! Bought one for my mom as well to help her figure out a skincare routine for dry, sensitive skin and I think this could be a winner!

Excellent. Smells bad
the serum is absolutely amazing. Instantly reduces redness & reduces irritation. It doesn't smell very nice, but that's not a problem. This serum was bought a long time ago and was waiting in the wings. When I had an allergic reaction to vitamin c, this serum literally saved my skin.

So soothing
This is a serum that pretty much does it all and I like that I don't need to layer it with anything else for my skin to feel calm, hydrated and dewy. There isn't any added fragrance in the formula so I must admit that the natural scent is not my favourite but this disappears quickly after blending. I'm excited to try more from Cultured.

My skin is finally calm
I was a bit put off by the price at first, but the good reviews convinced me into buying this serum. And I'm so glad I did. It made my not so well behaved skin calm and soft, after months of struggling with dryness, breakouts, and overall irritation (she does NOT like winter). It also helps with healing after stronger peels, as well as during retinol treatment. A great product, cannot recommend enough!

Skinsaver
If you've got dry/sensitive or even blemish prone skin like me, but still like to use an exfoliating toner from time to time in the evenings, follow with this serum and thank me in the morning. It's so soothing, so nourishing, so softening and leaves your skin feeling bouncy and plump. It's also moisturising enough to be used on it's own without feeling heavy - which I'm sure will come in handy during the summer time because sometimes layering SPF on top of moisturiser can feel too stifling.I find myself becoming more comfortable with using my active products because I know this serum is going to do the job of protecting my skin barrier alongside it and the results speak for themselves. Definitely one I'm going to keep going back to again and again because I just don't have anything like it.
