Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Confused at other sensitive skin reviews
After reading reviews here, and reading about the product on the website I expected it to be great for sensitive skin, with even people with Eczema Liking it, however, I get a stinging sensation when I put it onto the more sensitive areas of my face. I will say it does make the parts of my skin that are less sensitive very smooth and moisturised eg my forehead. I have dry skin that’s extremely sensitive.

Very nice cream
I really like this moisturiser, after reading other reviews I was concerned I would be disappointed, but not at all! I have normal skin but acne-prone. The cream leaves my skin perfectly moisturised without being greasy or shiny. I only used it as a moisturizer in my evening skincare routine. The smell is not fantastic but didn’t bother me at all. Could have been a 5 out of 5 but it is on the pricey side. But I will definitely purchase again tho!

Not worth the hype
Being in love with the Protini cream, I thought I would give Lala Retro a try for my dehydrated skin! It's a big no-no! It's very thick sets on the top of the skin not hydrating enough at least for me! I 'll go back to my beloved Protini

Sad elephant
So I am a fan of Drunk Elephant products mainly for their clean and effective formulas but I must say for this product specifically I feel like as a customer I was mislead. Yes the formula is great and the product does what it says it does as in my dry skin feels hydrated and I haven’t broken out HOWEVER ... for the amount of money spent on this item I was expecting more bang for my buck. I was using this product once daily and using humble amounts and by the third week I thought that the pump stopped working so I took it apart and apparently I used up all the product! So I looked online to see if other people experienced the same thing and confirmed that the ratio of product to product case is about 1/3 so I’ll have to give this a 3/5. I mean with the amount of money this company is receiving you would think they’d be less stingy but oh well.. I’m going back to cerave, great formula and way less expensive. Cheers x

LOVE the Lala Retro Whipped Cream - this must be my 4th or 5th jar. I've been through quite a few luxury brands face creams, this might be my favourite. Highly recommended and will be repurchasing for sure.

Magic Cream
My skin is finally happy with a cream! Perfect for dry but oily T zone skin. I use at night only - and maybe skip a couple of days when I feel I need less but it’s gorgeous. Smell isn’t super powerful but isn’t perfumed so it does smell quite different. Worth it though.

Honest product
There was a sample on my parcel, I have oily skin and I thought that it was a moisturizer for dry skin, but it worked good also for my skin type. It was ok, it didn’t break me out and it has a matte finish. I was expected it would be oily but not at all!
