{PERFECT PLAITS} as seen at {RODARTE}

This beautifully intricate, yet remarkably easy-to-achieve braided look – as seen at this season’s Rodarte show – is pretty, ethereal and totally ‘now’

Screen Shot 2013-09-08 at 06.35.47To begin, cleanse hair with a clarifying shampoo, to remove any residue and leave hair squeakily clean. Philip B’s {Peppermint and Avocado Clarifying Shampoo} swiftly eliminates build up, for locks that are glossy and fully of movement

After washing, towel-dry hair (always pat dry, never rub) and mist liberally with Sachajuan’s {Leave In Conditioner} to seal in moisture, and add some texture to help mimic the sexy, separated effect

Take two front sections and braid loosely – these are simple, three strand plaits – secure the ends with a snag-free band, then create a third braid at the back, starting from the crown – don’t worry about being too neat

Draw the two front braids back and secure at the top of the third, twisting the ends and pinning with kirby grips, to achieve the pretty rose effect (you might need to call in the help of a patient friend)

Finish, with Leonor Greyl’s {Serum de Soie Sublimateur} smoothing sparingly through the ends of your tresses, to enhance shine and grant a perfectly tousled result
