Get the Look: Stella McCartney Resort 2013

StellaResort13 SUnday Riley

Sunday Riley and her team created the punk-meets-suffragette (my description) ‘edgy fresh’ beauty look for Stella McCartney’s Resort 2013 collection.

The make up perfectly matched the (to-die-for) fashion – a mash up of pastel shades and bold, chintzy prints; head-to-toe leopard and clean, minimalistic lines – which the beauty team translated into dewy, countryside complexions with a sexy, heavily lined eye.

GoodGenes_new_800x960Faces were prepped with a mixture of ‘Good Genes‘ and Ceramic Slip Cleanser (back in stock soon!); applied for one minute then rinsed to instantly brighten, tighten and perk-up sluggish skin.

Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer was used to create a uniform base for sheer, luminous foundation – try ‘Liquid Light‘ for immaculate, flawless coverage. A few drops of Juno Transformative Lipid Serum were them warmed between palms and patted over the face for a moisture and radiance boost.

A barely-there shade of Prismasilk Eye Shadow – ‘Camille’ is the perfect matte beige – was washed from crease to brow bone to neutralise the eye lids, then ‘Little Black Dress’ was blended along the lower lash line for a daring, unexpected edge. Use Japonesque’s Pro Eye Detailer Brush (small) to achieve a soft, smudgy finish. Lashings of Influencer Mascara in ‘Obsidian’ were then applied to upper lashes only.

Blush in ‘Blushing’ was swept delicately over cheeks for a pretty, pale pink flush – then Soft Focus Loose Powder was dusted along cheekbones and the t-zone for a beautiful, luminous glow.

Lips were enhanced with a whisper of Modern Lip Colour in ‘Marie Antoinette’ – the perfect dusty rose for faking that just-kissed pink tint. Gaaaaaawjus!
