For a soft application, swirl a small eyeshadow brush into the eye shadow; then apply colour along lash line and into crease of eye.

For a smoky application with depth, start by lining top and bottom lash line with eye pencil of choice. Then, use a flat eyeshadow brush to apply eye shadow at base of upper lash line and blend upward into crease.
