I take this actually around 4 pm since that is where I seem to want nothing but sweets... I eat well and have a nutritionist that helps ensure I get all my nutrients in for the day. So I started to take it in the morning and wasn't seeing the effects, but moved it to 4 pm and it does help. if it is a placebo or not is up for debate, but honestly, to me, it wouldn't matter - if it works it works
