I have hooded eyelids and all mascaras smudge my upper lids. And I wear very little make-up so I wanted something simple. The wand reminds me of the other end of the screw :) since it's metal, it's peculiar when you see it. But I give one coating on my roots and that is it.  It lasts longer than needed, to be fair and is not the one to quickly come off. But I will be buying it again, for sure.
