Phenomenal
5Since this oil has helped me to gain my beautiful skin back after s rough time that had destroyed my skin? I would like to address issues some have had with Luna: I don’t know what it is, but this oil is phenomenal and has magic powers. Since the first time I used it, I saw my skin improve during the night like never before. At first the smell was odd but after a few days I started to love how different and earthy it is. It has become my favorite moment of my routine and I don’t want to go without it. The smell grounds me and reminds me of healing herbs. We are so used to artificial perfumes, that we can’t appreciate the nature’s true smell anymore. It is pricey but a few drops are enough and I use it every other day to give my skin a one day break from retinol. The large size is usually the most convenient and goes a long way. At times sets are even more convenient. I like to warm up the drops in my hand and breathe it in, then press it into my skin. I tap it in lightly with my fingertips as if it was raining. This way the oil gets absorbed completely and my skin doesn’t stay oily. That is my ritual. It feels amazing. Together with the Good Genes it becomes a very powerful duo. Look out for a set with both, it’s worth it. My skin is much more hydrate d when I use Luna, softer and after a few weeks it gained a lot of elasticity back. That was a big surprise. This has made the small lines disappear and the very accentuated ones on my forehead are much less visible. And my skin looks healthy, bright and glows since I started to use it. As to any breakouts: I must say that I always use it with Good Genes and it probably helps. I had a patch that broke out in the beginning. It’s a patch that is hormones related and was never completely smooth and even. But after a week or two it cleared and since then I don’t have any blemishes. The whole face is even and smooth with almost no texture if I don’t skip my routine steps. Retinol pushes all of the blemishes that are under the skin and that we don’t see yet because they hide in the deeper skin layers, to the surface and this is why some experience a massive breakout in the beginning. It’s not an adverse reaction to the product, it means that it works and is cleaning the deeper layers. It pushes blemishes that would break out later on, to the surface all at the same time! This is where the AHAs are needed. They clean the surface congestions that the retinol has pushed out, sweeps away death skin, clears the pores and penetrates into the deeper layers too to help the retinol. Sometimes it takes time to clean all of the blemishes that are under the skin waiting to come up, it depends of how bad the situation is. But after the first load and shock they will start to clear and the skin will stay clean and smooth after this first phase. It’s good to use Niacinamide in this phase alternating the retinol, helping the skin to heal from the breakouts. So don’t get scared, don’t give up, be patient and stay consistent. 5I buy this product regularly because I love how clear it makes my skin after a few days' use. It's not cheap, so I always look for a discount or a goody bag to buy this but would recommend if you like a moisturized face afterwards

I like it!
3I've been using it 2/3 times a week and I'm happy with the results! It does smell a bit weird but it's not super offensive so I got used to it quickly. I've reacted badly to retinol in the past but my skin seems to be tolerating this a lot better as long as I don't overdo it and make sure to moisturise during the day. I'm not sure if I will repurchase because it's expensive and definitely not a miracle worker, but I'll be happy to use it at least until I run out.

Expensive but you get what you pay for
5I initially had a small sample size of this oil and I loved it. I took the plunge and bought the 15ml bottle - pricey but it lasts a long time. I also dont use it daily as I alternate this with another retinol.Â

It’s okay
4It does it’s work but watch out. If your skin is sensitive or you have an acne skin, then this serum is not recommended. You will get break outs. For the price there are more good retinols.Â
