I used to good chemical exfoliants and never expected to have a favourable view to some plain scrubbing exfoliant. Actually, I got this product by mistake ordering the essence but getting this polish instead. I am very pleased that this mistake was made as it is a truly great product for my mature oily skin. Firstly, the smell of intense coffee is divine and it lasts for hours in my bathroom. Secondly, my skin seems plump and smooth afterwards using it. Each Sunday morning since I got this product I start my skincare routine with this polish and I ENJOY myself so much. Strongly recommend

The oil doesn't sink in as well as I'd like, the grains scratch my skin a bit, but my biggest gripe with this is the packaging. It is impossible to close the tube without getting more product out, so I have to clean the tube every time. Also: a greasy brown product in white packaging, really? I use this once a week as it leaves my skin too sensitive if I use it more often, probably will finish the tube, but will not repurchase.

I now have had this for almost 2 years and struggling to use this. I do not mind the coffee granules but it is the oily residue afterwards I do not enjoy and I end up cleansing again to get rid of the effects.

I love exfoliating, so have literally dozens of exfoliators, but I have never tried anything I love nearly as much as this! It's like polishing your face with coffee, which is aromatic heaven. It's gentle on the skin compared to some exfoliators, but really does a fabulous job nonetheless. Truly, if you love coffee and exfoliating, you have to try this. You will not regret it. N.B. My skin is combination, dehydrated, and I'm in my mid-40's. I stopped getting regular breakouts by the conclusion of my 30's, so cannot say whether this would cause issues for those with acne (but do intend to try it on teenage daughter to find out :)) It's simply too good not to share!

I have changed from someone who NEVER writes reviews to someone who has become addicted to sharing great finds. Maybe it's age....?!! Anyway, I am discovering new and fabulous products weekly (Thank you Cult Beauty!) and this one is one of the best. Truly amazing exfoliator with a heavenly scent of coffee - and I'm not a big coffee lover - which invigorates and smoothes. The effects are immediate and even my husband, whose previous idea of a exfoliation was shaving - is addicted. Best product from this range in my opinion.
