I bought this with expectations to get 1) a heavenly scent and 2) a good moisturising. The scent is almondy-musky, not intense and very average - like every other almond drugstore shower gel. The moisturising qualities require using body lotion after the shower. For me not worth the splurge at all.

I love a good shower gel and I can't go without this one. I have bought it multiple times. Most shower gels or soaps dry out my sensitive skin but this keeps my skin hydrated. The smell is amazing and stays on your skin. I've just ordered more products from the brand. Try it.....you'll love it!

Well, it does it's job well enough, it does hydrate a little bit and cleans moderately. The best thing about it is that the smell is nice and it lingers for quite some time, so you'll probably smell nice for hours after this. At first, at the shower, I thought that the smell was quite mild and disappointing, but after drying myself, I could smell it for hours before going to sleep and it was quite powerful and nice. As a means to clean yourself, it's not perfect, iId rather first cleanse myself thoroughly with some other shower gel, soap or scrub first and then use a cream to hydrate. This cream - gel felt a little bit too thick and more of a treatment after regular showering, this is more of a luxury SPA ritual than a really functional shower gel and a bit pricey too. It's nice before a date or an event, or while you are on vacation, just to feel and smell something nice. Especially if after this, you use a body cream of the same brand, you'll feel like you just came out of a luxury spa (the body cream has sparkles). So, if you can afford an item that's more for comfort than function, this one is definitely great, but if you are looking for something functional and affordable, this might not be for you.
