Most of the skin on my face is neither too oily nor very dry (with the exception of dry cheeks), but rather sensitive and prone to breakouts. So, after I received this oil as part of the SkinOwl "All the Things" kit from their website, I figured I'd protect my skin from the sub-zero temps by applying lavender drops to most of my face and sage drops to my cheeks. For the four days I did that, my skin felt perfect no cold "bites", no drying in the heated office, very nourished and calm... Except at the end of the fourth day, I noticed some faint red bumps, which are my skin's go-to reaction to unsuitable products (and which erupt into whiteheads if I keep using that product). Lavender alone did not have that effect. I now only use clary sage on my neck, and it feels very pleasant. Still, the smell is too heavy for me and I don't plan to purchase the full size.
