The powder does not mattify but does not make the complexion glowy either. for me it is useless

I am discovering Shisheido as a brand. After the glorious foundation, decided to try this powder. I have dry mature skin and powders usually end up in a big mess. This however, does what is says. No cakeyness here. Another win from Sisheido. Now I want to try other Japanese brands.
