This is my 4th Roen palette and I have been hesitating to get ot for YEARS, concerned that it was going to be too cool and dull for me, even though I have cool tones in my skin.  But I reach for my Roen palettes so very often I had to break down and get it, and I was delightfully surprised.   Of course, as usual, the color shifts and sparkle of these formulas are complex and gorgeous, and as a consequence completely impossible to capture in photos.   As to this palette in particular, there is surprisingly a pale gold with a pink color shift making it a bit peachy as the lightest color (not very “cool”, I do wish it was more pinkish) the mauve is the least sparkly and has a slight bronze cast, the taupe (usually a color I avoid) has marvelous blue sparkles and sheered out is almost “warm” (i.e. much more flattering on me than any other taupe) and the gray/silver is the biggest surprise of all, with super mica like sparkle.   Best ambivalent purchase ever!  

I don't understand the hype around these shadows. They are tricky to apply and crease like crazy! If you have hooded eyes prepare for huge obvious buid up in your crease. Furthermore, despite the packaging looks nice in pictures, it is actually very thin and cheaply made.They look sparkly and cool when you apply them but crease and become ugly to me too fast. Definitely not worth the money.

with the seasons changing I needed a good cool shade palette. i came across this gem and it is perfect. so easy to use and such beautiful colors for the winter season.
