FANTASTIC
5It is versatile. You can use it to give light to the tear duct, as a topper shadow or highlighter. I recommend it.
Report this reviewSolaris
5Recently bought this highlighter in the shade Solaris and from the moment I bought it this is my go to highlighter. Love the glow, very natural and easy buildableÂ
Report this reviewNice product
4This is a nice highlighter, somewhat natural (not beaming but I like my highlighters to be like skin-like glow). I have both photosphene (with a slight champagne/pink shift) and solaris (with a duo chrome shift). Solaris is less natural but I loooooove the shift in this. Great underneath a rusty blush (think Mac Gingerly) for a little pop! Only downside for me is it doesn’t fully dry down, it feels a little balmy on the skin.
Report this reviewThe Perfect Glow—Even if You Hate Highlighter
5I was looking for a soft highlighter to create 'a glow from within’ look for the morning, but this was beyond my expectations. The velvety consistency melts beautifully into the skin, creating what I can only describe as an ethereal, angel-like glow. Easily buildable. It definitely applies better with fingers than a brush.
Report this reviewOtherworldly kind of beauty
5I have Solaris and want other shades!;-) It's easy to apply, has that smooth, creamy texture that literally melts into skin - I just apply it with my fingers to get that delicate, almost ethereal glow (though it builds up easily so one can achieve their desired effect without putting in much effort). 'A sunset-inspired rose gold streaked with translucent opal' - that description says it all; it's somehow both warm and cool-toned at the same time, and hence so special.
Report this reviewPhosphene is Gorgeous
5At first I thought that Phosphene was a bit too muted but now after playing with it for a week I’m in love. I apply it under my cream blushes which gives them a fantastic glow. I was looking for a kind of a rose gold and this is it but much more. It’s very hard to describe but it’s the perfect fall addition to my highlighter collection which includes Icebow more for summer.
Report this reviewMy go-to highlighter
5This one really lived up to my expectations! I got the shade Icebow and it looks absolutely lovely on my very pale skin. It is subtle enough to wear at day to the office, yet buildable, and always looks great. I use it both as a highlighter and eyeshadow. Both look beautiful!
Report this reviewwhat is this dark wizardry
5I have Solaris and I'm never using another type of highlighter. It sheers out so beautifully if you want a subtle highlight. Laying it on thick really packs an iridescent punch that looks amazing in low light conditions. It is strongly scented, but I enjoyed it.
Report this reviewGorgeous, barely there beauty
5I have waaay too many highlighters, all of which were in various shades of champagne or gold, and all of which were powder. I'm probably very late to the party, but I honestly didn't realise there were cream highlighters out there, and even if I had, I would have imagined they would be difficult to apply and not blend well with the rest of my makeup. Well, then THESE little pots of wonderfulness came into my life! Having already fallen in love with the Nectar Pigment Balm, I bought one of the Rare Light Luminisers in 'Solaris'. I was blown away, which is a strange way to express myself here, because what I was so impressed by was how subtle, beautifully complex, and, for lack of a better term, grown up it was! The product name suits it perfectly, 'Rare Light' is exactly right. You can only see it when the light hits you just right, otherwise there is just an ethereal glow, which reminds me of the sought after 'glass skin' look, it's certainly not a bad thing, I feel that this is one of the most sophisticated beauty products I own. When I mentioned earlier that this is beautifully complex, I mean that under the correct lighting you can see the delicate shimmer of the various golds, silvers, pinks, blues, violets etc, that make up each shade. I've since invested in Anthelion and Phosphene, and fully intend to add each one to my collection! I have also purchased The Alchemist, although I don't often use it. I might review that separately, but will just say that you definitely don't need it to enjoy these on their own! My only wish is that Cult Beauty stocked the full range, but unfortunately Rituel de Fille have several products that are exclusive to their website, and they don't ship to the UK. It should say a lot that this alone has led me to find a company which provides US PO Boxes for shipping to the UK, because I NEED to have these, along with many other RDF products not available in the UK in my life!
Report this reviewJ'adore Icebow
5I ordered the lightest non gold color because I wanted a cream highlighter to glide over powder blushes. Â Superficially Icebow looked too much like my Becca Pearl Powder but on skin it has a gorgeous cool almost lavender micro pearl glow that isn't like anything in my collection! Â I like a lot of glow and this formula is perfect! Â
