This intensive treatment oil is designed to replicate the oils (sebum) your body uses to keep your scalp and hair moisturised, glossy and resistant to everyday stresses. This fragrant blend includes olive oil to retain moisture, walnut oil to prevent bacteria, almond and jojoba oils to soften and re-hydrate hair, and lavender oil to clarify and detoxify - dissolving scalp oils and product build up, to create extra 'lift' at the roots. Its similarity to sebum means that this oil absorbs quickly, regulating both dry and excessively oily scalps while restoring the hair's strength, softness and shine.
-Brush dry hair and scalp thoroughly with a natural boar bristle brush. -Taking one inch sections of dry, unwashed hair, apply oil liberally to the point of saturation-NEVER apply oil to wet hair. Work oil in with your fingers, concentrating one inch from the scalp through the ends. For dry scalp, massage oil directly onto scalp then work through ends. Comb through with a fine-toothed comb. For intense treatment, heat oiled hair with a blow-dryer for one to two minutes. For dry to damaged hair.

    I suffer from tight burning scalp and seborrheic dermatitis. My scalp always feels hot and is painful to touch. Even my hairdresser comments on it thinking I have sunburnt scalp. The dry scales and itchiness were giving me small bald patches, so I decided to give this a try after nothing my doctor prescribed for me (numerous foul smelling sulphur and coal tar ointments and steroid solutions) made any difference. I am so glad I found this! when I put it on it instantly soothes the burning and nourishes my scalp. It gets rid of most of the flakiness (the most stubborn patches need a bit more medical help). I can now go to sleep without my head feeling likes it's on fire. I worried it may make my hair greasy as its very oily already but it doesn't at all. Instead it just makes makes hair feel super soft and shiny. It also smells amazing and feels like a real pampering session when I use it.
