I have very sensitive, oily blemish prone skin, so whenever I use this mask it does sting/tingle quite a bit for the first minute or so. For anyone else with very sensitive skin I'd recommend not to rub the mask in as it can make my skin very red and stingy, just leave the mask on for 3/4 mins and it works a treat! Skin feels amazingly soft and smooth and definitely helps with oil control :)

I have sensitive skin but I thought I would buy this mask and give it a try. I applied a thin layer and my face and it started to tingle but was a mild sensation. After I removed the mask my skin was smooth clear and glowing! So for sensitive skin use a very thin layer. I then decided to use it on my knees and elbows as I have dry skin and I'm a bit lazy to exfoliate. Wow! What a difference, my knees and elbows are smooth and the mask has helped with pigmentation I have in those areas. So give it a go and you won't be disappointed.

Initially when I tried this it felt like my face was on fire and I had to remove it instantly. However, when I got the courage to try using it again I found that although it was uncomfortable, it was bearable. The discomfort was worth gritting my teeth for, as my skin was glowing, exfoliated and looked clearer. I've now used this about 5 times and each time it has been slightly less painful. My face usually looks slightly flushed for about 30 mins after using it so I tend to avoid using this right before I'm due to go out for the evening! I agree with the other reviewers and would not suggest this for people with sensitive skin or people who don't think they could deal with the INTENSE tingling sensation. This face mask is going to last me a very long time, as you only need a tiny amount, so I feel this is incredible value for money. I like the packaging and the smell of this product too. I love Peter Thomas Roth products, and this is definitely up there with my favourites.

I could not order this from Cult Beauty because I am not from the UK, but I had the Chance to try this mask and I just love it. It is very strong (but I like it, because than I know it is working) It made my acne scars lighter and also I feel like it gives a great glow afterwards. I have acne prone skin and I'm using it twice a week and sometimes I use it for 15-20 minutes.

This is one of the best face masks I have ever used (and I have tried many!). Smells delicious and leaves skin radiant and glowing. As other reviewers have mentioned this is not for sensitive skin types as it does tingle quite a bit, but on my oily skin it works really well. A little goes a long way - I've used it about 6 or 7 times and the tub still looks full. Just try it!
