Very practical. Nice to have to touch up sunscreen without ruining your makeup.

Not suitable for me as whilst it claims to be transparent is actually very pigmented and unsuitable for my pale skin. The previous blue packaged one used to be fine but can't seem to find this now unfortunately.

I was really excited to try this because of a friend who swears by it and keeps one in every bag. Growing up in tropical climate with strong sunshine all year round, I've been searching for the perfect sunscreen for years. The Instant Mineral SPF 45 by Peter Thomas Roth is very nearly this. The product is a lovely light translucent powder that does not leave a greasy residue like so many other sunscreens. It's easy as pie to apply over makeup and is completely colourless. However, you have to pull the bottom to retract the brush head when you put the cap on and sometimes this releases powder everywhere. It's also a bit messy to apply for the same reason. I've also not figured out how to clean the brush - I can only imagine that if you reapply the product constantly throughout the day on grimy skin, the brush must be a breeding ground for all sorts of nasties! All in all a very good product, but the packaging is in need of a bit of fine-tuning!

Love the product itself, makes reapplying sunscreen throughout the day a breeze. However, the brush is hard and scratchy, the brush head doesn't detach so it can't be washed. Considering I'm using the brush while I'm out and about, I shudder to think how dirty it gets. I'm considering buying another product I've seen with a refillable brush, which has a powder compartment and a detachable head. Some upgrading on the actual brush is sorely needed from PTR.

Love this - give my skin a great finish, and as I love the sun, its a good idea. BUT - When you have finished using it - in order to retract the brush you have to pull the base of the cylinder out. However the base also unscrews which isnt mentioned on the packaging, and if not really firmly done up, you will find the powder goes everywhere - and you are reordering - just like me!!!
