  • Paul Yacomine Micro Treatment Oils

Image 1 of 1

Paul Yacomine’s version of a traditional smoothing serum, Micro Treatment Oils stars a brilliant, featherweight blend of oils – including argan, rose, rosemary and geranium – which fortify hair’s fabric and replenish precious moisture while preventing the ‘serum’s’ film-forming properties from becoming continuous (which can add weight that compromises volume and can contribute to that lank and greasy feeling). The addition of UV filters then deflect the colour-compromising and strand-weakening effects of sun exposure, as well as creating a ‘shield’ between strands and the harmful effects of salt water and chlorine – making this a holiday hair saviour.
Paul recommends using on slightly thicker/heavier hair types. There are several ways to use Micro Treatment Oils – use to condition and protect against heat styling either pre- or post-washing, as a highly-effective sunscreen before swimming, or as a ‘serum’ to achieve a naturally smooth and glossy finish. After washing, remove excess moisture with a towel. Remove cap and dispense a fingernail-sized dose of product into palms (vary the amount depending on hair thickness and texture). Rub palms together and apply in a sweeping movement. Comb through and dry. On finer hair types, concentrate the product on the mid-lengths and ends.
From hairstylist to Uma Thurman, Elle Macpherson and Kate Moss comes Micro Treatment Oils – a protective and nutritive ‘serum’ to smooth, strengthen and condition all hair types while granting a mirror-like shine.

Cyclomethicone, Dimethiconol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cetyl PEG/ PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Organic Argan Oil Parfum (Fragrance), Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Eugenia Caryophllata (Clove) Leaf Oil, Mentha Spicata, Cymbopogon Nardus (Citronella) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens (Organic Geranium) Oil, Canarium Luzonicum, Juniperus Virginiana (Cedarwood) Oil, Bulnesia Sarmienti, Rosa Damascena (Organic Rose) Flower Oil, Benzyl Benzoate, Butyl Methoxy-Dibenzoylmethane, Gardenia Tahitensis Flower Extract, Limonene, Citronellol, Geraniol, BHT, Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Tocopherol.

    Nourishing; shame about pump
    4 out of 5 stars
I bought this product on a whim and really loved it! The smell is divine and it lasts all day in my hair. I have really thick and long hair however it makes my hair feels so nourished when I put it in after my shower. Plus a little bit of oil goes a very long way. I would love to make this product the main one that I use however will unfortunately not re-purchase due to it's rather fiddly pump. The pump is small and tends to fall off when I travel with it. If the pump remains as it is I will stick to buying Aveda products (similar smell/effect).

    Unhandy pump
    3 out of 5 stars
It's a nice product but the pump is way to small and very unhandy to use. So I would not repurchase it again because of that.
