Black smoke and uneven burn

This candle wick burned a lot of black smoke. Also I felt it didn’t burn to the outer edges so there was a lot of wax left around the sides when it ended. I had let it burn for about 4 hours on the first burn but it still happened. It is a lovely looking candle and you can re use the jar. It also smells amazing.
