Since I placed the NEST Ocean Mist and Sea Salt Diffuser in my kitchen, it has seemed to drown out most unpleasant smells such as faint odors from the rubbish bin (if left too long) and some food items etc. My entire apartment smells more pleasant and balanced in a very subtle way. I would not necessarily say this product exudes the scent very noticeably, but in the kitchen you can definitely get a waft of it from time to time. I think this product would also be great on the nightstand, for instance, but I am afraid I would topple the liquid over, as the elegant glass bottle just sits open at the mouth with the reeds in it.
