I have oily hair that usually requires daily shampooing (either liquid or dry shampoo), and I usually use a clarifying shampoo or scrub once a week to remove buildup on my scalp. This rinse does help removing buildup - not quite as effectively as a scrub - and it's been very useful after a long, sweaty run or to wash my hair after using dry shampoo the previous day. It does contain alcohol, and although I like the scent I doubt it's healthy for my scalp to use it too frequently. So at the moment I'm reserving it for days on which it's particularly needed. Overall, I would recommend it and I'm planning on purchasing again, but if I can find a clarifying shampoo that doesn't dry out my hair so much I think I would probably skip this rinse.

It leaves my hair feeling stripped of everything, which is nice, but then I feel like I need to lather up with the richest shampoo and conditioner there is. Not really sure how I should be using this or if it does anything to my hair. The smell is very subtle and the applicator is very nice, considering it has to be applied straight to the scalp.

Lovely rinse but very gentle. I prefer something more tingly and minty to give my dry scalp some relief
