3I use a few of the Medik8 products and was looking for a good day cream. It’s a bonus that the SPF is high (50) as it saves you having to apply another cream. Consistency is quite rich for a day cream. Was fine for me as my skin can be a little dry but may not be suitable for oily skin… Great for those duller autumn into winter days. But if I was going out in the sun all day I’d be putting a full on sunscreen on top. I can justify putting the amount I’d need on for real no burn protection when it costs as much as it does.

2I was super excited to try this out, and the formula does seem really nice when it's going on. However, it's the only SPF I've managed to burn through and my skin just seemed to get worse after using it. Not a fit for my combi skin that burns easily. I'll stick to Shiseido/Supergoop.

3I have very sensitive, dry to combination skin that is extremely allergy prone. The packaging is really nice since you know how many pumps you need for your optimal use. One negative thing about this pump out packaging is that unless you use the cream all the time, the cream in the tip of the pump will get harder and it will clump. The cream is white, with a yellow hue. The texture of it feels more like a sunscreen than a moisturizer. It's a bit greasy to the feel. I used 3 pumps on my face and neck and it didn't leave a white cast. If I used more it would take forever to be absorbed by my skin and it felt so heavy. It has a light citrusy smell and I really like it. It has a dewy/glowy finish, which I'm not a fan of. It makes me feel like my skin is super oily or sweaty. The recommended amount to use is 5 pumps, but when I tried to use that much, my skin would feel so greasy and it also took very long for it to be absorbed by my skin. I started using 3 pumps and that was better. I still felt that greasy feeling and like there was a thick coat of cream on my face that took forever to go away. Once I used this cream in the morning before going to the beach. After diving out of the sea I felt my eyes burning super bad. I had to rush out and wipe my face with a towel. So pro tip - if you plan on going to the beach, remove this cream from your face beforehand. It's safe to say that I won't be buying this again. It just wasn't for me. It's very pricy and I know other products that suit me better and are cheaper.

5This was in one of the Cult edit boxes and I am in love. I have skin that reacts super sensitive to bright sunlight, so the higher the SPF the better. Here I get a high SPF combined with great skincare. No greasy feeling, no breakouts and no red itchy patches. This will be my go to day cream!

5Best SPF50 for face! Applies really easily.  It’s moisturising with no white cast.  Make up goes on over it perfectly.  I’ve found that some SPFs seem to transfer into your eyes and almost make things a bit blurry; this one doesn’t.It’s not cheap but it is worth it.ÂÂ

5the best SPF in the world - I use both 30 and 50, depending on the season. Have quite dry skin - this spf works better on me than any day cream, while providing essential sun protection. The skin looks really really dewy and nourished, I have never experienced any dryness or tightness with Medik8 spf products. Pretty much all of my skincare routine is now Medik8, I cannot recommend this brand more.ÂÂ
