The vanilla kind of smell is absolutely delicious and I find it very soothing when I go to sleep. If you don’t like that then this product is not for you. It’s a very rich balm that leaves your skin hydrated. I have had more soothing products when my skin is irritated but it still calms my skin when needed. I have sensitive skin and I have found this brand is really great for that. And although it’s expensive I love it so much that I will buy it again when it’s empty.

This balm has a strange texture. It's one of those thick, gel-like substances you have to warm up between your fingers for a second or two in order to be able to spread it across your face. Once you have applied it, though, it feels wonderful on your skin -- very moisturising and very luxurious. It takes quite a while to sink in, so it's better used at night than during the day. You'll wake up to wonderfully soft skin with nice evened-out skin tone. I tend to wear this after niacinamide and retinol. My dry and mature skin loves that combination.

This is a good and very hydrating balm, but I personally prefer other products from this skincare line. It id ok but a bit too thick for my liking. 

I initially bought this balm for myself because I was absolutely blown away by this brand and its ingredients. I have very sensitive, acne prone skin and I *think* it broke me out (but I‘m not 100% sure) so I gave it to my sister who struggles with rosacea to try it. And well, she never returned it and even made me buy more in case it’s sold out or Cult Beauty stops selling it. Her skin is visibly soft, hydrated and less red when she uses this. 10/10
