Absolutely Amazing!

Wow! I couldn’t have picked a better highlighter to buy! This product is so strong and very pigmented which is such a positive for me. I barely put any of my brush and it shows up amazing on my skin! I would 100% recommend this product to anyone looking to buy an amazing highlighter!

For those who Like Glitter

When the light hits 'Angels' on your cheekbones, what you see is the lighting up of individual glitter particles rather than just an overall glow on the skin. This is a very glittery highlighter, and it LOOKS like glitter on the skin. However, when you mix 'Angels' with an appropriately pale eye shadow (or another highlight) you can blend it to a glowy, wet sheen instead of a glitter-fest (so my money wasn't totally wasted!). However, the glitter gets EVERYWHERE. By the end of the day, there's a random spattering of glitter here and there all over your face. Even after makeup remover there's still glitter just, around. Everywhere. And when you're applying it, it'll end up on your fingers, clothes, and vanity table. Likewise, I wouldn't recommend it being applied anywhere but the cheekbones. Don't apply it on the nose, cupids-bow, inner-corner, or brow bone because it'll just move around and by the end the day be all over. Unless you use setting spray. Also, DO NOT apply with fingers or a sponge (unless you want full-on glitter galore on the skin), I would recommend using a (dense) brush for a sheen. Also, you should know that what colours you see in the palette is not how it looks on your skin! The undertones are what come through, not the overall colour. The hite shade applies looking purple-pink, the coral-pink shade in the middle applies looking bright gold and the ending purple shade applies looking like a blue-lavender. So just know you're not getting what you see! However, the colours are pale girl friendly!

Love it!

I use this palette every day as I love it so much. The colours really show on your skin true to the palette as it's really pigmented! Shimmery and beautiful - definitely a must have.

When I first opened the palette I was a bit disappointed, as the three powder shades look flat and dull, but then I tried them on the skin and it was love at first swipe; a little goes a long way as the powder is highly pigmented and opalescent, so the shades come to life. There is shimmer in these highlighters, but it is finely milled and doesn't outlive the base. When I look straight-on into a mirror I can't see anything, but when I turn my head the powders catch the light and flash quite intensely. A perfect highlighter - it's not just sitting there as a strip of colour on skin ala Adam Ant, instead of managing to be both subtle and eye-catching at the same time. When I apply my morning I'll sometimes use a setting spray, but I found that the highlighter will last until I'm ready to remove my makeup in the evening no matter if I use one or not. I've removed a lippie because if people are choosing with highlighter palette to buy based on a brief glance at the site photo and/or Lime Crimes descriptions, then they could end up with something they didn't really want. Don't get me wrong - they're all gorgeous shades, but they just apply as different tones from what you may think you are getting. Heaven looks and is called white iridescent, but on my skin tone it looks more pink/champagne - it looks more pink compared to the supposedly pink highlighter. Speaking of which; Halo is the pink powder and Lime Crime describe it as being pink/gold/green, but once applied I can only see the greenish gold. Finally, we have Celestial, which Lime Crime call Cloud Blue, but I'd say is more lilac.

Amazing

By far the best highlighter I own, the shine and pigmentation are way better than ABH's Moonchild palette and MUG's Duochrome highlight compacts. Whenever I use this palette I get so many compliments from people on how glowy I am! For an extra intense look, I apply over a holo cream base (NYX) and then top with a diamond crusher for extra shiny glow. 10/10 would definitely recommend, your makeup collection isn't complete without one of these! Now I just need to get my hands on the other Hi-Lite palettes Lime Crime have blessed us with!
