blurs & controls oil

Many blurring primers blur pores but don’t control oil well. This blurs my skin, controls oil but is very light weight and I love that it’s silicone free. You only need a tiny amount too so the tube lasts ages!!

Love it!!! This is the best primer that I ever applied on my skin. My skin is oily especially in the summer so this primer makes my makeup look less oily and more natural. Highly recommended!

he shine breaks through after five hours

So, I’m the type of oily skinned person who has alternate skincare depending on the type of makeup she’d be wearing/layering over it (oil vs. water vs. silicone-based etc.) This worked perfectly the first time I used it then pilled horribly at my next use. The culprit, for me, was skincare (serum, moisturizer, sunscreen) with silicone. Anything I put under and over it, preferably, should also be water-based and silicone-free. This is fine with me since I prefer to avoid silicone anyway. Whenever I do this kind of skincare/makeup combo, the primer really does extend the blurring and mattifying capabilities of my makeup. Mind you, it isn’t dead matte. On me it’s blurry, velvety, soft matte. The shine breaks through after five hours, and even then it’s not that much shiny. This is such an amazing feat for me since I usually have to blot after an hour or two-and I consume 3 blotting sheets at the minimum per blot! I took off a star just because I have to work around it to make it work. It should just work regardless of the other products you use with it. Please don’t discontinue this. It’s not perfect but with continued use I have fallen in love with it since it really does make my skin looked blurred and softly mattified. The best thing is, when I take off my make up, my skin still feels soft and smooth.
