Best for the summer period especially with oily or combination skin and sunscreen with oil. 

Been trying to find a moisturizer for the summer for my combination skin and came across La Roche-Posay Effcaclar Mat and thought to give it a try. Didn't disappoint me with it matte finish yet moisturizing enough not to create a shine on my face. This will be my go to for summer.

I have fair oily skin and when I heard of this mattifier I was super eager to try it. The application goes smoothly, less is more. And it does leave my skin with an excellent matte finish. HOWEVER, it doesn't last all day, for me, it is usually between 4 - 5 hours, not more than that. And after this period of time, it starts pilling off :( It doesn't really play well in the layering game. I tend to use just one serum before this moisturizer and sometimes, even like this, it pills after a couple of hours. So, wonderful short-term results, but you'll need to reapply in the afternoon/evening.

This is a good product as I have used it before. I know the product well.

I have oily skin, and this moisturiser doesn't make it more oily, and it's really light. So far my favourite.
