Really good although maybe a bit too gentle depending on what you're used to.

XL size easily and comfortably fits all my hair, but would love it if the band around the head would also be adjustable.

It fits all my hair comfortably which is amazing! Usually bonnets are way to small to fit my hair. It's a bit tight around the head for me but I have a big head and have always issues with that so if that's not a regular problem for you, you should be fine!

Forgot to add this bonnet is really HUGE - XL. Keep in mind if you have a smaller head/shorter, finer hair. I love it anyways, it keeps my hair out of my face and neck. It's very light too, doesn't get me hot or sweaty.
