Every acne treatment performed in Kate Somerville’s L.A. skin clinic starts with this Detox Daily Cleanser. Created especially for acne-prone skin types, this detoxifying gel cleanser is designed to remove impurities without over-drying, fight acne-causing bacteria and stabilise oil production. It’s enriched with salicylic acid, which penetrates the interior walls of pores to unclog them and eliminate blemish-causing impurities, balancing excess sebum production. It also stars glycolic and acids, an alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin and encourages cell renewal to diminish dead, dulling cells on the skin’s surface and uncover the radiance beneath. Phytic acid brightens skin tone and minimises the appearance of scarring. Removing make up and impurities, this wonderful formula gives your complexion a fresh start, addressing current breakouts while keeping future blemishes at bay – the ultimate investment for keeping your skin clean, clear and contented.

Twice daily in the morning and evening, apply a small amount to a wet face and massage gently for 30 seconds.

Rinse and pat dry.

The cleanser is okay but nothing I'll be repurchasing. It smells like The Body Shop's tea tree line and I hate the packaging

Kate Somerville cleansers are good but they are not excellent. This smells very herbal and medicinal and is in gel form. I don't feel like this penetrates the skin very deeply as it doesn't leave is squeaky clean. Also, you have to twist the packaging for the product to come out and it's a little messy because you have to scoop the cleanser off the cap. All in all, it's nice and didn't break me out but I would definitely pair this with another cleanser.
