A red must-have
5 out of 5 stars
I can't fathom how many red lipsticks I have but I always wanted to try the Julie Hewett noir lipsticks. These lipsticks are really hydrating and pigmented. I think a lip liner is a must when you wear these but it helps the end result. Femme Noir is a true red and so iconic, like all the silver screen starlets. If you want a red lipstick to start off your lipstick collection or a red lipstick to stand out, this Noir collection has it all!

Excellent
5 out of 5 stars
I've got the Femme noir and the Rouge noir and they are both excellent lipsticks. The formula is superb: glides on smoothly and has rich pigment. Both colours are not original but few lipsticks out there match these ones in terms of matte formula (I am thinking of Burberry's - they are equally good). I prefer Femme Noir, as I have blue undertones, but Rouge Noir is the real red and, therefore, a classic for every woman.

Qualité parfaite

J'aime la texture, la couleur. Un des mailleurs lipstick que j'aie utilisé.
Perfect Quality - I love the texture and colour, one of the best lipsticks I've tried.

My new HG lipstick
5 out of 5 stars
Mac's Russian Red used to be my go-to lipstick, but more and more I grab the Rouge Noir during my make up ritual. It's a wonderful lipstick, extremely pigmented, very comfortable to apply and to wear.
I'm a big fan of matte lipsticks, but my lips aren't always in shape for drying colours, especially not during wintertime. The Rouge Noir is the perfect compromise for those days: creamy, but not glossy. It smells like my granny's lipstick, which amplifies the whole retro feel of the lipstick. I think one the best parts of this lipstick is it fades gradually on the whole lip, so it stays pretty even after if you eat or drink. I use the omit pencil, also Julie Hewett, as an outer lipliner (to prevent bleeding and that works like a charm).
The only problem now is: which lipstick to buy next, the Femme Noir or the Coco Noir? :)

Lovely stay-put reds

Long-lasting lippie with excellent pigmentation that manages to stay put without drying out the lips. Rouge is a classic true red, Femme more blue/pinkish toned.
