One of the world’s most preeminent make up artists, Julie Hewett has over twenty years’ experience in the industry and has worked on more blockbuster films and celebrity faces than are immortalised on Hollywood’s ‘Walk of Fame’. The idea for her own make up line was born on the set of ‘Pearl Harbour’ when she noticed a distinct lack of true ‘beauty classics’. She was determined not to make up every actress with the same red lipstick, so started swatching different colours to create bespoke shades and textures to reflect the individuality of each woman. Her goal was to translate the durability and wearability of these high-performance, professional products to the consumer, and create a capsule collection of glamourous-yet-wearable make up essentials, to enable every woman to feel good and look gorgeous.

Best Palette for Travelling

I bought the palette here because of the good reviews, and it is a very good choice. It is the only palette I take with me for travelling. The colours fit my green eyes very well. The blushes are good to combine, the colours alone are a little bit too extreme in pink or orange for my pale skin. The eyeshadows are really lovely blendable and mixable and stay put on a primer.

Lovely palette but seriously frustrating that the lid only opens 90 degrees, makes it difficult to truly see the colours. I was so disappointed with the cheap plastic packaging and sticky label stuck on the lid - not the end of the world but the palette isn't the world's cheapest by any stretch. The product inside is lovely, the eyeshadows are as per the other reviewers description and I am fond of them for my hazel eyes like the others have said. The blush is also really beautiful. Just one star off for the packaging.

I bought this palette a couple of months back because it looked as though the eyeshadow shades would be flattering to my hazel irises. I wasn't really expecting I would use the blushers, but one I'd started using the eyeshadows and realized how high quality and richly pigmented they were, I tried out the blushers, and was amazed, because I've always hated blushers, as I'm hopeless at blending them, but these are easy to blend and suit my skin tone perfectly. I'm 44 and I travel over to Asia every month for work, so an added benefit of this incredible palette is that all your eye and cheek looks are taken care of in one compact case. I really can't recommend this highly enough!
