I bought the shade light and it is not light at all! It is even too dark for the summer when I am normally more tanned. The glitter is insane! Obviously I knew I was buying an illuminating version but still.. even after I took my makeup off I could still see the glitter residue. The overall formula seems nice though and I decided to try the original version in shade fair too. we will see how it goes..

Ordered this, because the regular CC cream was out of stock. This is a VERY sparkly cream, even if I use loose powder over it. Will not repurchase.

I was introduced to the original of this a few years ago by my daughter and, although I expected it to be too insubstantial for me, I loved it! I have stopped using a foundation at all as this ticks all the boxes for me. I now use the illuminated version, which I bought by mistake, and I’m glad I clicked the wrong one! I definitely feel that, as well as looking great and lasting all day, my skin’s condition has improved since using this. I’m 65 and this is perfect for me but I suggest it could suit any age. There is always going to be the odd person for whom it isn’t right but I find, with a light dusting of powder, it is all I need for an even smooth complexion.

I purchased the lightest shade in this range and it was still too dark. Was very orange on my fair skin. Such a shame as the formula is lovely. Big waste of my money.

I love the look of this but its SO dry. It's brilliant coverage, blends really nicely, has a lovely glowy finish but really not made for dry skin!
