It really works

This is a new staple for me too. It seems you can combine a concealer with also reducing irritations. It is hard to blend though as it is very thick and hard to apply.

Good coverage

Nice product with good coverage but you have to work fast as it’s hard to blend and sets quickly. Bought in Fair for my pale skin and does help to dry out spots, but means it doesn’t last all day as it begins to flake.

Finally, a concealer for those, “OMG what is that?” moments, when you notice an impending explosion just before you hit your makeup regime. This is great for day time use when spot treating is not an option (I’m thinking Mario or Kate’s zinc sulphur, which is strictly nighttime only) and your make up needs to be done ASAP. I use this under makeup or on its own, on any active blemishes, and on my cheeks where I have lots of acne-related redness, and am super prone to breakouts. Excellent coverage and beneficial ingredients which seem to help recovery. I’ve read some reviews about oxidisation, which I can relate to. But the key to avoiding this is to use UNDER makeup as directed. For some reason when layered on top, the colour tends to darken and stand out like a sore thumb. Makes sense really as those acne fighting ingredients need to have contact with skin and not three layers of foundation! If you end up blending out some of the coverage with this method, leave your makeup to set for a few minutes before adding in some of your regular concealer. For this reason it gets a star deducted, but still a new staple for me, and some much-needed reassurance that I’m treating the problem under my makeup.

Good for the skin

Perhaps it's not the most covering concealer ever but it gives a quite natural not-visible effect and, most importantly, it doesn't irritate pimples/zits/acne, so if you have a red angry bubble but do need to go out and cover it, this is a great option. Maybe it won't last more than 8 hours (though with powder it lasted 6 with oily skin) but it will make acne better the day after... or at least not worse like other make up can do. I would absolutely reccomend it, especially to teens or people with PCOS and cystic acne who need a solution that HELPS reduce the irritation. Only issue... the colours. I am quite fair and the lightest shade is not right for winter (though it is in spring/summer) and I'm sure the range could use some darker colors too!
